Al-Ahliyya Amman University has a clear academic promotion system in which faculty members are evaluated based on teaching, research, and community service. In line with global research trends, the university places growing emphasis on interdisciplinary research in its promotion criteria, recognizing its role in fostering innovation, solving complex problems, and enhancing academic and industrial collaboration

    • Interdisciplinary research is evaluated based on its scientific quality, academic and societal impact, and the journals in which it is published.
    • Priority is given to research that offers innovative solutions to real-world problems, particularly those aligned with global trends in research and development.

    • Points are multiplied for research published in top-tier (Q1 & Q2) journals or that achieve high citation rates.
    • Cross-departmental research collaboration is promoted to enhance knowledge integration and generate impactful outcomes.
  3. Supporting Research Exchange and International Partnerships
    • International research collaboration is encouraged through academic exchange programs with leading global universities to enhance the quality of interdisciplinary research.
