We at the Amman Al-Ahliyya University Psychological Care Center are pleased to welcome you to this supportive space for mental health, where we work to promote psychological awareness and enhance the quality of academic and personal life for university students. The center aims to provide comprehensive psychological and counseling services that empower students to understand themselves and cope with life’s pressures with flexibility and balance. This is achieved through individual and group counseling sessions, specialized psychological assessments, and awareness and training workshops in various fields. The center is supervised by a team of qualified psychological specialists who are dedicated to providing support in a safe and confidential environment that respects the privacy of every visitor—ensuring a professional and compassionate experience. We believe that mental health is the foundation of success, growth, and balance, and that investing in it is an investment in academic and human potential. We are pleased to be by your side—to listen, support, and accompany you toward a life of greater tranquility, balance, and well-being.

CENTER BREIF

The Amman Al-Ahliyya University Psychological Care Center was established in early 2022, founded on a non-profit service philosophy. The establishment of this center represents a pioneering initiative, forming—alongside other centers within the university—one of the key pillars in supporting students across various psychological and social aspects of their university life. The center provides psychological counseling and psychotherapy through a team of qualified specialists, contributing to the resolution of academic, emotional, psychological, and family-related challenges. It also offers comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services, where psychological evaluations are conducted using a wide range of standardized and approved tests—such as intelligence and personality assessments, in addition to other psychological measures that enable a deeper understanding of each individual case. Diagnosis and treatment are carried out by a select team of licensed psychiatrists authorized to prescribe medication when necessary, in collaboration with experienced psychologists who provide cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other non-pharmacological treatments such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). All services are delivered in a professional, safe, and confidential environment that promotes the well-being and quality of life of the university’s students.
