The Faculty of Agricultural Technology Celebrates Arbor Day

On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II and in celebration of Arbor Day, the Faculty of Agricultural Technology organized a national event for tree planting within the university campus. This event is part of a series of activities organized by the faculty aimed at instilling national principles among students and enhancing their entrepreneurial skills. These activities are aligned with the university's vision in line with the national strategic plan and sustainable agriculture to contribute to the preservation and protection of vegetation cover from negative practices such as overgrazing, burning, cutting, and others. Under the supervision of Dr. Rasha Abdelhadi Al-Tarawneh, students of agricultural technology participated in planting approximately 100 trees suitable for the region's environment within the university campus in collaboration with the university's agriculture committee.
