Integrated Healthy Living
Smart medical care, modern facilities, and a health culture that begins at the university
Al-Ahliyya Amman University is one of the leading educational institutions in providing comprehensive medical care. Its health vision extends beyond emergency services and examinations to establishing an integrated health environment that empowers students and staff to maintain their physical well-being and prevent diseases—supported by advanced medical infrastructure, preventive awareness programs, and a network of specialized health partnerships.
Medical Care Infrastructure within the University
University Medical Clinic
Located in the heart of campus and operating seven days a week, the clinic offers primary and secondary medical services including clinical examinations, management of minor cases, medication dispensing, and emergency care. It is staffed by qualified medical and nursing personnel, equipped with advanced medical devices, blood-sugar and blood-pressure monitors, and first-aid equipment.
On-Campus Rapid Response System
Activated during emergencies, this system deploys a trained team to handle critical incidents—such as fainting, sports injuries, or cardiac events—and provides a fully equipped ambulance for immediate transfer to specialized hospitals. The university collaborates directly with the Civil Defense Directorate to ensure swift on- and off-campus response, and participates in evacuation, first-aid, and prevention training exercises.
Licensed University Pharmacy
The pharmacy supplies essential medications and pharmaceutical services to students and staff, and serves as a practical training center for College of Pharmacy students.
Sports Facilities and Health Centers
Key facility: the Arena Sports Complex, which offers advanced fitness halls, Olympic-size pools, and physical therapy and rehabilitation centers. Additional outdoor multi-purpose fields and walking tracks promote the integration of medical care and physical fitness.
