From Management Information Systems to Leadership and International Business Development

My professional journey began after graduating from Al-Ahliyya Amman University with a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), which provided me with a strong foundation combining business management and technology. I started my career in the banking sector, then moved on to Qatar Airways and Aspire, followed by an international experience with Beyond Limits in the United States. After returning to Jordan, I joined Transition Technologies as an HR Business Partner, before progressing to my current position as General Manager at Techalamal. In this role, I focus on business development, building international partnerships, and strengthening cooperation with German partners to bring expertise and technology to the Jordanian market.

Among the professional milestones I value most are my experiences with internationally recognized organizations and my work in multicultural environments. Today, I am particularly proud of contributing to partnerships that create new opportunities for Jordanian talent. Through my role at Techalamal, I aim to support the digital economy, connect local professionals with international employment opportunities, and promote remote work opportunities that enable young people to use their skills and achieve professional growth.

One of the main challenges throughout my career has been adapting to different professional environments, cultures, and industries. My experience at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, where I interacted with students from diverse nationalities and backgrounds, helped me develop strong communication skills, appreciate different perspectives, and collaborate effectively with people from around the world. My MIS degree also strengthened my analytical thinking and understanding of the relationship between technology and business, skills that have supported my professional and leadership development.

My advice to AAU students and recent graduates is never to limit your ambitions to your degree or your first job. Every experience can be an opportunity to learn and grow. Believing in yourself, taking responsibility, continuously developing your skills, and embracing new challenges are essential steps toward building a successful and meaningful career.

Looking ahead, I aspire to continue developing my leadership capabilities, expand the impact of my work at Techalamal, and build international partnerships that connect Jordanian talent with global opportunities. I also hope to serve as a positive role model for Jordanian women, demonstrating that professional ambition can go hand in hand with family and personal responsibilities. I am committed to representing Jordan with pride and showcasing the ability of Jordanian professionals to innovate, compete, and succeed in international business environments.

I believe that true success is measured not only by the positions we achieve, but also by the impact we create, the opportunities we help build, and the people we empower to discover their potential and achieve their ambitions.
