His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Ali Al-
Safadi was born on September 16, 1967. He
obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration from Al-Ahliyya Amman
University. After graduating, he joined the
Jordanian Armed Forces as an officer, where
he served the nation and gained valuable
experience in leadership and management.
Al-Safadi began his parliamentary career
with his election to the 15th Jordanian House
of Representatives, continuing to serve the
people through the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th
parliamentary sessions. During this time, he
held key positions, including First Deputy
Speaker of the House and chaired prominent
committees such as the Financial and
Economic Committee and the Public
Services, Tourism, and Antiquities
Committee.
Al-Safadi is a founding member of the National Charter Party, which officially nominated him for the
speakership of the 20th House of Representatives in November 2024, reinforcing his influential role in
Jordanian politics.
On February 26, 2025, Al-Safadi returned to his alma mater as the patron of the graduation ceremony for the first semester graduates of the 32nd cohort. The ceremony was held at the Arena Theater at Al-Ahliyya
Amman University and included graduates from the Graduate Studies, Arts and Sciences, Educational
Sciences, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Law, and Business faculties. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Dr. Maher Hourani, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the
University’s Board of Directors, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, University President, along with faculty members,
administrative staff, and the graduates' families.
