Dr. Suleiman Mohammad Suleiman Abu Atmeh

Lawyer, Legal Consultant, and General Manager of Al-Shamila Law Firm

Graduation Year: 1997

Faculty: Faculty of Law

My professional journey began after graduating from Al-Ahliyya Amman University with practical training in legal practice through the Jordanian Bar Association. This stage marked the beginning of a professional career spanning more than 25 years in the fields of law and legal practice.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to continuous learning and professional development. Earning a PhD in Law was one of the milestones I am most proud of, alongside more than 25 years of practicing law. These experiences have strengthened my legal expertise and broadened my knowledge across various areas of legal practice.

One of the ongoing challenges in my profession has been keeping pace with the continuous development and amendments of legislation. This has made continuous learning and staying informed about legislative developments an essential part of my professional practice. It has enabled me to adapt to changes and provide legal opinions and consultations with greater accuracy and effectiveness.

Al-Ahliyya Amman University played an important role in laying the foundation for my academic and professional journey. The University was distinguished by a highly respected group of faculty members from across the Arab world, whose legal publications continue to be valuable references in the libraries of lawyers, researchers, and law students. Their academic contributions reflect the lasting educational value they have provided to generations in the legal field.

I currently serve as a Lawyer, Legal Consultant, and General Manager of Al-Shamila Law Firm, drawing on extensive professional experience that combines legal practice with continuous academic development.

My message to Al-Ahliyya Amman University students and recent graduates is simple: Be proud of your university, continue learning, and always strive to develop yourselves. Professional knowledge does not end with graduation; it continues to grow through experience, learning, and continuous development.

Looking ahead, I aspire to continue contributing to the legal profession and ultimately dedicate the later stage of my professional career to teaching at one of the law faculties in Jordan, where I hope to share my knowledge and experience with the next generation of law students.
