Bachelor


The Accounting Department is one of the first departments of the Business School which was established in September 1990. The department offers undergraduate and graduates accounting programs. The Bachelor’s Program in Accounting aims at meeting the requirements of the local, regional and global labor market with highly qualified accountants. The bachelor program consists of (132) credit hours, and the study plan was developed in the academic year 2014-2015 and in the year 2019-2020 to keep pace with the continuous development in international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and international auditing standards and keep pace with developments in the financial and business environment and meet the needs of the labor market. The qualified teaching staff of Ph.D. and MA holders in all accounting fields and specializations.

Program of Higher Diploma in Public Accounting Number of Credit Hours: 24The program aims to provide the participants with the necessary knowledge and specialized skills (basic and advanced) in legal Accounting. It includes different subjects in Financial Accounting, International Accounting Standards (IASs), Financial Reporting, Managerial Accounting, and International Auditing Standards. Furthermore, it enables the participants to acquire knowledge to understand the legal framework and jurisdictions related to organizations and commissions like Company Law, Income Tax Law, social security, Legal Accounting Profession (CPAs), Securities and Exchange, and Integrity and Anti -fraud.
