Cooperation Agreement between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and AMIDEAST

A cooperation agreement was signed between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and AMIDEAST, "an American non-profit organization that seeks to improve education and training opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa region." The agreement, which was signed on Wednesday, 18 Jan 2023 by Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of the University, and Mrs. Noor Al-Rasheed, National Director of AMIDEAST. This agreement aims to strengthen and promote the partnership between the two parties through its networks of universities, educational and vocational colleges in the United States of America, as well as to identify the programs that are customized, designed and required by educational institutions in the United States of America in the field of hotel management and tourism. At the beginning of the meeting, the President welcomed the attendees and stressed the importance of this cooperation, pointing to the need to implement the terms of the agreement through specific implementation plans. For her part, Mrs. Nour praised this cooperation and touched on the possibility of cooperation in the field of implementing educational projects and cultural exchange, in addition to holding international exams. The signing of the agreement was attended by Prof. Anas Al-Saud, Vice President for International Relations and Quality, Prof. Fayez Haddad, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ms. Mays Al-Kurdi, Marketing and Relations Officer with the Tourism Sector, Ms. Fernand Fakhoury, Director of the Examinations Department, and Ms. Mirna Al-Tal, Director of the Studies Program for International Students.
