The Faculty of Architecture and Design organizes the fourth show of the university cinema series in partnership with the Jordanian Royal Film Commission

The Department of Cinema, Television and Theatre Design from the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized the fourth show of the university's cinema series, in partnership with the Jordanian Royal Film Commission- Film House in Salt. The show was about the movie Oscar and Lili, directed by the Austrian director and producer Arash T. Riahi, on Wednesday 24 /11/2022 in Mahmoud Darwish Auditorium. This movie show came in conjunction with the European Film Festival in its current session, which will be held this year in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan during the period from 11-25/11/2022. The events of the film revolve around a social cause that has human implications and dimensions. It narrates the story of two Chechen children who are living the experience of asylum in a European country. The dramatic handling of the film was professional, in which it contained a high-level cinematic language and impressed the attending faculty members and students. This event comes within the framework of the university’s cinema series launched by the Cinema Department in cooperation with the Global Engagement Center in partnership with Ishtar Iraq Film Production Company. Such events aims to raise the applied skills of students through learning about local, Arab and international cinematic experiences. It also aims to promote cinematic culture within the community.
