Our President Prof. Sari Hamdan honors the winners of the Hourani Prize for Art & Design on its second edition – 2022

Prof. Sari Hamdan honored the winning students of the Hourani Prize for Art & Design on its second edition – 2022 under the title “Our New Reality: Challenges and Creative Opportunities” on Sunday, March 7 2022 in the Presidency of Al-Ahliyya Amman University. The winning students were honored in the areas as follow: - Rawand Hazin from the department of Graphic Design in our Faculty of Architecture & Design in the Poster Design division - Nirmeen Al-Qassab from our Pharmacy Faculty in the Drawing division - Leen Al-Qawasmeh and Raghad Al-Faouri from the department of Interior Design from our Faculty of Architecture & Design in the Photography division The honoring ceremony was attended by Prof. Abdulsalam Al-Shboul, Dean of our Architecture & Design Faculty along with the jury members; Dr. Hanan Al-Shaikh - Vice Dean for Accreditation & Quality Affairs and Head of the Graphic Design department, Dr. Fatin Al-Jazzar, Head of the Multimedia Design department, Dr. Manal Barqawi, Dr. Ahmad Kasih and Mr. Raed Jarrar. The meeting was concluded by a video presenting the work of the winners and other participants’. The Hourani Prize for Art & Design aims to activate the role of youth and draw their attention on different essential areas such as social awareness, culture, environment, health and education in order to highlight such topics and find innovative artistic solutions that contribute to solving these problems in a meaningful and effective manner.
