The Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities and Jordan Basketball Federation Announce the Schedule for Blink League for Universities

The Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities in cooperation with the Jordanian Basketball Federation held a press conference at Al-Ahliyya Amman University to announce the schedule of matches of the Jordanian University Basketball League for Students (Blink League for Universities) on Thursday, 12 May 2022. At the beginning of the conference, Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Vice-President of the Jordanian Olympic Committee, praised the great role of the deans of student affairs, members of the governing body and directors of sports activity and members of the Technical Committee of the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities in overcoming all obstacles to ensure the success of the Basketball League of Jordanian Universities, stressing the need for universities to support all athletes by providing them with scholarships. Mohammed Elayyan, President of the Jordanian Basketball Federation, expressed his pride in the trust given by the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities to the Jordanian Basketball Federation in organizing this first league of its kind in Jordanian universities. Nabil Abu Atta, secretary general of the Jordanian Basketball Federation, said that the main goal of organizing Blink League extends to increasing the inclusion of the game and further connecting with the young fanbase of Jordanian universities, in addition to encouraging universities to invest in their infrastructure. Furthermore, he conducted a presentation on about the participating universities and the groups distribution in the league. Mr. Mudar Majzoub presented Blink’s final approved schedule, which begins early next week, and talked about the league gameplay system. The conference was attended by President of the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of the Jordanian Basketball Federation Mr. Mohammed Elayyan, Secretary General of the Jordanian Basketball Federation Eng. Nabil Abu Atta, Secretary General of the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities Dr. Mustafa Al-Atiyyat, Deans of Student Affairs, Sports Activity Managers, Basketball Coaches and a number of players in the federation's member universities.
