Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Al-Balqa Governorate Honor Public Servants of the Governorate

Under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraia, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in cooperation with the Higher Committee for Activities and Community Service, and Al-Balqa Governorate, held a voluntary campaign to support the public servants in Al-Balqa governorate on Monday, April 18, 2022, in the Sports City of AsSalt. The Minister of Interior said that the public servants should be at the center of our attention because of their great role in municipal work and maintaining a beautiful image of our areas, as this meeting with the public servants today represents the giving spirit and is nothing but a simple tribute to their great efforts. The Governor of Al-Balqa, Dr. Firas Abu Qaoud, pointed out that today's meeting with the great public servants who are the reason behind the beauty of our cities is a simple tribute to their efforts, which have full appreciation from all sectors in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as he also thanked Al-Ahliyya Amman University for this good gesture. Dr. Mustafa al-Attiyat, Dean of Student Affairs at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, said that the university has been participating in all social responsibility events that are beneficial to al-Balqa governorate, in addition to participating in charitable work that brings joy to its children, and pointed out that this initiative is a small part of honoring the public servants that are of utmost importance. Through this initiative, Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized breakfasts for public servants in the governorate, in addition to distributing food parcels and cheese tin cans to them, where 40 students from various university faculties as well as a number of faculty members and a team from the Deanship of Student Affairs participated in these activities. It is worth mentioning that the honoring event was attended by the public servants from the municipality of AsSalt, Mahes, Al-Fuheis, Al Aridah Al Jadeedah, Ain al-Basha, Deir Ala Al Jadida, Madi Al Jadida, South Shona, Sweima, in addition to municipal department managers and administrative governors.
