Cooperation between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and the General Secretariat of Christian Educational Institutions in Jordan

On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, a cooperation agreement was signed between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and the General Secretariat of Christian Educational Institutions in Jordan, where the secretariat is considered to be a legal and respected entity in all matters relating to its objectives, mission, structure, authority and finances and works to serve and raise educational institutions in more than 30 regions and cities. The agreement, signed by Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of the University, and Father Mustareeh, Secretary General of the General Secretariat of Christian Educational Institutions in Jordan, aims to achieve cooperation in promoting and developing the specialization of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts of the University's Business School to members of the Secretariat through its mobile application and informing all its staff and students studying in its schools and their parents of special offers available, as well as granting members of the secretariat and their children a minimum of 30% discount in tuition fees for the Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts Program. Dr. Sari expressed the extent of the university's interest in providing the country with highly skilled competencies and the need to focus on providing specialties related to the labor market to ensure that students are hired after graduating and to reduce unemployment and work to raise the academic level of the university. The signing of the agreement was attended by Mr. Ayman Rashid, Director General of the Movenpick Hotel - Amman, Father Jihad Ammari on behalf of the General Secretariat, Director General of Roman Catholic Schools in Jordan, Mr. Rami Dababneh, Secretary of the General Secretariat, Dr. Moataz Al-Dabai Dean of the Business School at the University, Mr. Amin Al-Arda, Director of the Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts Program, and Ms. Mays Al Kurdi, Marketing and PR Officer.
