Al-Ahliyya Amman University Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with JODDB

On Monday morning, March 21st, 2022, Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, received Brigadier General Ayman Al-Batran, Director General of the Jordan Design and Development Bureau and the accompanying delegation. The meeting began by welcoming this visit to the university, which followed the visit of a delegation from Al-Ahliyya Amman University to JODDB, during which they discussed ways of cooperation between the two sides with the aim of signing a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in specific fields and with a clear time plan. The President of the University stressed the university's keenness to involve the university faculties related to JODDB in order to strengthen the practical aspect of academic programs in these faculties and provide quality training opportunities for students and benefit from the expertise of the center's staff. From his side, Brigadier General Al-Batran stressed that the Center is keen to activate the partnership with the private sector in general and universities in particular, in realization of the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II to enable partnerships between the public and private sectors and to create strategic partnerships for the center, the most important of which are partnerships that serve applied scientific research. The memorandum of understanding was signed, and this will facilitate the work on joint ventures beginning with a project that will be revealed at the upcoming SOFFEX 2022 exhibition. This MoU will also facilitate cooperation in areas dedicated to finding solutions and creating systems that can manage social media, virtual reality (VR) and other solutions in the medical and medical equipment fields.
