Honoring the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University among the outstanding sports personalities of 2021

Under the auspices of H.E. The Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al Khasawneh and as part of the celebrations of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for the 60th birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein and the kingdom's celebrations of the centenary of the founding of The Kingdom, the Cultural Sports Association held a ceremony honoring the winners of the 2021 Arab Federation of Sports Culture Awards at the Royal Cultural Center on Friday, March 18th, 2022. During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Vice-President of the Jordanian Olympic Committee, was honored among the distinguished sports personalities of 2021, and the award was received by Dr. Mustafa Al Attiyaht, Dean of Student Affairs at Al-Ahliyya Amman University on his behalf. The Board of Directors of the Cultural Sports Association praised the role of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, represented by its President, Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, for their support and role in festival. Mr. Hassan Massoud, President of the Cultural Association, and a member of the Arab Federation of Sports Culture, said that Jordan prides itself on the confidence placed in it by the Arab neighboring countries, stressing on the great importance it enjoys with the presence of a great number of distinguished Arab athletes in Amman. The Secretary-General of the Association, Mr. Mohammed Adeeb Desouki, also stressed that under His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, Jordanian sports played a prominent role in Jordan's rise and development, through sporting achievements that are distinguished milestones, which every Jordanian citizen is proud of.
