Al-Ahliyya Amman University Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Center for Security and Crisis Management

On Tuesday, March 15th 2022, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and the National Center for Security and Crisis Management at the center's headquarters. The memorandum was signed by The Center's Vice President, Brigadier General Hatem al-Zoubi, and Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, the University President. The meeting included a brief presentation by Mr. Riad Kreishan, Director of Training and Rehabilitation, and brief presentation about the university was conducted by Professor Dr. Anas Al Saud, Vice President for Foreign Affairs. This memorandum aims to spread the mission and objectives of the Center and benefit from academic expertise and provide tools for joint scientific research, as well as to benefit from the center's expertise in establishing a master's program in the field of risk and crisis management in addition to benefiting from the expertise of the center's staff in teaching some courses and providing an opportunity for university students to touch on the importance of this strategic center and how to manage crises and form a crisis cell through access to the mechanisms and methods in which the center applies in all kinds of crisis management, in addition to cooperation in the field of cybersecurity and applied scientific research. Brigadier General Al-Zoubi and Dr. Hamdan addressed the need to implement the terms of this memorandum. It was therefore agreed to develop an execution plan supervised by the center’s Administration and Human Resources Development Manager Dr. Hisham Al Abadi and from the University, Professor Dr. Anas Al Saud. At the end of the meeting, the university delegation was taken on a tour of the center’s facilities, and the two sides exchanged commemorative shields.
