Orientation day - Faculty of Engineering
Orientation day for freshmen students starting their studies at AL Ahliyya Amman University for engineering faculty in which will take place on 14 October 2019 in Al-Hourani Elearning Auditorium.
We highly recommend attending this day, as it is the best opportunity to ask all the questions that may arise during your first days at the university.it allows freshmen students to know each other even before classes start.
During this day there are certain things student must do, such as making them familiar of their advisory plan, ensuring that they complete their enrolment, and some other activities.
In this day, new student will have the opportunity to:
1. Find out about their program of study.
2. Meet their fellow students, lecturers and find their way around their university.
3. Find out more about university’s support systems and resources.
The students will visit the following facilities:
1. Deanship of student’s affairs.
2. Admission & registration.
3. Al-hourani E-learning Center.
4. Arena complex.
5. Transportation Unit.
6. Accommodation.
7. Medical Services.
8. Business Incubator.
9. Hearing & speech center (Comity service).
10. Library.

Admission Is Opened in the Program of Intelligent Transportation Systems for Specializations in the Faculties of Engineering and Information Technology
AAU announces admission of students who hold the Bachelor Degree in the following specializations: Civil Engineering, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science and Networking & Information Security. Students are invited to join the program of Intelligent Transportation Systems which is part of the AAU Faculty of Engineering.

The AAU Holds the “CCNA 200-125” Course
The AAU Consultation Center and in cooperation with the Faculty of Information Technology announces holding the “CCNA 200-125” Course on July4, 2017. The course which lasts for eighty training hours will be run by Dr. Musleh Abu El-Haj. It is worth mentioning that the course is equivalent to the IT Field Training Course. This course which will take place at the AAU Cisco Lab will cost 180 JD. Registered students will obtain a 58% discount when taking the “CCNA Certificate”. A Workshop for the Students of the Department of Medical Engineering
The Deanship of Student Affairs in the AAU in cooperation with the Near Horizons Academy organized a guided workshop for the students of the Department of Medical Engineering. The workshop aimed to develop the skills of the students and to qualify them to enter the local and international labor markets. The workshop took place on Thursday, 27/4/2017 at 11:00 pm in the Nizar Qabani Theatre.

A Free Workshop for Students of the Faculty of Engineering
The Center of Consultation and Continuous Learning in, the AAU, in cooperation with the Foundation of Sense and Engineering Thought, announced conducting a free informative and training workshop for students of the Department of Civil Engineering. The workshop aimed to qualify civil engineers for the job market. The workshop was held on Thursday, 13/4/2017 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the building of the Faculty of Engineering, hall number 2015.

An Important Announcement Regarding the University Proficiency Exam (Make-Up Exam) for the Graduates of the First Semester of the Academic Year 2016-2017
The University Proficiency Exam (Make-Up Exam) which concerns the graduates of the first semester of the academic year 2016-2017 will be held on Monday and Tuesday corresponding to 23-24/1/2017 in the building of the Institutions of the Higher Education Accreditation Commission and Assuring its Quality from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Students, whose names are not listed in the attached lists, should refer to the Computer Center not later than Wednesday January 18, 2017.
