The Faculty of Pharmacy organizes a workshop in collaboration with the Jordanian Pharmacists Association

Under the guidance of Prof. Mohammad Al-Tanani, Dean of the Pharmacy and Allied Medical Sciences Faculties, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a workshop in collaboration with the Jordanian Pharmacists Association under the title “Introduction to Regulatory Affairs”.The workshop was attended by Dr. Wasfi Nawafleh, representative of the Jordanian Pharmacists Association with the aim of linking the academic aspect of the pharmaceutical studies with the practical reality and provides them with the necessary skills and experiences.The Faculty of Pharmacy was the first from private universities to hold this workshop for its students, in which was organized by the Pharmaceutical Field-Training Committee headed by Dr. Lubna Al-Gharaibeh, coordinated by Dr. Seena’ Matalqa and Dr. Randa Atwan and witnessed a remarkable crowd from faculty members and students.The workshop discussed different aspects for drug and medical registration presented by members of a specialized team with extensive experience in this field headed by Dr. Hania Shammout and the members as follows:- Dr. Laila Jarrar- Dr. Rana Al-Kayed- Dr. Suha Al-Abdullah- Dr. Aisha Samhan- Dr. Suzan Abeed- Dr. Lina Al-Abbadi- Dr. Rula Al-Qiyam- Dr. Rula Ayyad- Dr. Safaa Abu GhareebehIt is noteworthy that this workshop was sponsored by Astra for Pharmaceutical & Dietary Supplements, Al Lilium and Khatwa Drug Stores. At the end of the workshop, Prof. Wissam Ammari, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs handed shields of honor to the participants and sponsoring companies.
