Student Mohammed Al-Masri from Al-Ahliyya Amman University participates in the training program to prepare the Arab leader in the Arab Republic of Egypt
Al-Ahliyya Amman University, through the President of the Rule of Law Club, Student Muhammad Ali Al-Masry / Faculty of Law, participated in the activities of the training program for preparing the Arab leader, which was organized by the Institute for Leadership Development in cooperation with the Association of Arab Universities under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education in the Arab Republic of Egypt during the period 3- 2 Feb 2023, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Prof. Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, and Prof. Dr. Karim Hammam, Director of the Institute for Leadership Development.
The organization of this program comes as a result of the declaration of 2023 as the Year of Arab Youth, with the aim of creating and preparing a generation of Arab youth capable of assuming responsibility. The program also aims to empower young people to be future leaders and carry the flag of the homelands, as youth are one of the main pillars of the sustainable development strategy in the Arab world.
The program also plays a role in teaching the participating students to adhere to the right thing, preserving tolerant religious beliefs and cultural and societal legacies, avoiding destructive extremist ideology, fighting rumors, spreading societal peace within Arab countries, and strengthening the values of citizenship. The training program included many lectures, including youth and training, the role of Arab university students in confronting international extremism, Egypt’s place and status, the vision of the Ministry of Youth Egypt 2030, a lecture entitled “Egyptian national security and its link to Arab national security”, and creating a simulation model for the Association of Arab Universities, in addition to organizing visits to the most important tourist attractions in Luxor.
It is worth mentioning that the student Muhammad Ali Al-Masri had participated in chairing the current session in the simulation model of the Executive Council of the Association of Arab Universities.
