President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof. Sari Hamdan elected as the Secretary General of the Association of Arab Private Institutions for Higher Education
Members of the Executive Office of the Association of Arab Private Institutions for Higher Education held its second meeting for the year 2022 on Saturday 22/10/2022 in the city Amman, headed by Prof. Abdullah Yousef Al-Hawaj, President of Al-Ahliyya University in Bahrain and President of the Executive Office of the Association. This meeting was in the presence of Prof. Sari Hamdan, Secretary General of the Association, and Prof. Marwan Kamal, Prof. Rami Abdel-Rahim, Mr. Mohammad Al-Hawamdeh and members of the executive office as well.The President of the Executive Office welcomed the members and thanked the Secretary General and members of the Executive Office for their trust and confidence for electing him as President of the Association for the third time consecutively. For his part, the Secretary General of the Association, Prof. Sari Hamdan indicated that the decision taken by the General Assembly of the Association to reduce the subscription fees by 50%, will work to encourage member universities to fulfill their payments and encourage new universities to join. In addition to that, universities have been exempted from fees for the years 2020, 2021 and 2022, in which the covid-19 pandemic effected all sectors is also considered as an incentive for universities to pay their dues.
