Al-Ahliyya Taekwondo Team player among the Top World Rankings
Al-Ahliyya Taekwondo Team and the National Taekwondo Team player, Zaid Halawani ranked among the Top World Rankings for the under 63kg category with a score of (143.38) points on the International Taekwondo Federation for the Olympic & World Rankings’ announcement for this month, November 2022 to be the first Jordanian player to earn this achievement. Hence, Saleh Al-Sharabati progressed to achieve the second place in the International Ranking for the under 80kg category with a score of (264.89) points, in addition to his progression to rank the third place in the Olympic Rankings with a score of (250.94) points after earning the Silver Medal in the International Tournament of Serbia.Where, Zaid Mustafa progressed with three ranks in the under 68kg category to be in the sixth place in the Olympic Rankings with a score of (190.63) points, in addition to his progression in reaching the fifth place in the International Rankings with a score of (190.5) points after recently earning two Silver Medals in the World Taekwondo Grand Prix Championship in Paris and Manchester as well as achieving the Gold Medal in the International Tournament of Serbia.The champions of Al-Ahliyya Amman University and the National Taekwondo Team continue their preparations to take part in the 14-stars World Championship tournaments in the city of Mexico during the period 11-21/11/2022.President of the university, Prof. Sari Hamdan, the academic and administrative members congratulate the champions, wishing them more winnings and achievements and praising their efforts in raising the Jordanian flag in huge international forums.
