A0617203 Applied Clinical Project 3 "This course aims to enable students to invest their previous experiences and employ their acquired knowledge and practical aspects during these programs in order to design and develop projects that aims to address a problem or improve health and nursing services provided to the beneficiaries and who are within the interest of the tracks of the master's program. Students should research references and research, suggest a solution, develop a plan for implementing the solution, and evaluate its results.
A0617205 Advanced Primary Care Nursing (2) clinical ** 1 component of the course, provides opportunities to deliver and/or supervise care in healthcare settings. Aspects of community/public health and leadership are integrated in this clinical course. Students are expected to translate theory into practice and apply competencies related to assessment, monitoring, and diagnoses of the health status using the Community as Partner (CasP) model to individuals, families, aggregates, and communities. Students will conduct community assessment, and applying health education principles at different community settings through visits and practice in variety primary health care centers (MCH services and NCD), protection agencies, special institutions for vulnerable groups. Students will focus on implementation and evaluation phases of the nursing process. Emphasis is placed on developing the role of the clinical nurse specialist in community-oriented, population-focused practice utilizing best practice models and evidence.

A0617206 School Health Nursing 3 This course program is designed to prepare students to provide coordinated / comprehensive school health services. Also, this article seeks to develop the capabilities of students to work as members of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality and safe school nursing for students in the event of illness and wellness and within the limits of the ethical and legal standards of the nursing profession
A0617101 Research Methodology in Nursing 3 This course provides students with advanced and comprehensive knowledge of scientific research methods in terms of characteristics and uses. This course focuses on the process of constructive criticism and methodology and discussing the results of scientific research. The focus is on using scientific research to develop a database that can be used in practice. Through this course, the student applies the foundations and methods of scientific research by designing research projects in his field of specialization.
A0617107 Epidemiology 2 This course is designed to introduce students to the theories and techniques of education, health promotion, and teaching skills in a variety of primary health care facilities. The focus will be on preventive aspects of health as well as customer health education. Students will have the opportunity to apply training material to the design and implementation of educational programs for clients with a common health problem based on the best available evidence. Teaching methods include interactive lectures, group discussions, and seminars.
A0617102 Statistical Analysis in Nursing Research 3 This course focuses on providing students the knowledge of appropriate statistical methods (i.e. descriptive and inferential). This course includes students training on the use of statistical analysis software. This training will cover the following aspects including: data coding, entry, cleaning, and analysis. Also, students will be able to interpret and write up the results into one of the scientific report forms.
A0627104 Advanced Health Assessment theory* 1 This course provides students with advanced knowledge and skills of comprehensive physical examination for individuals. In this course, students will be trained on collecting comprehensive health history and assessing functions of human body systems to be used in writing an appropriate nursing diagnosis. Students are expected to use critical thinking and clinical decision making to develop a customized nursing care plan based on these findings.
A0617204 Advanced Primary Care Nursing (2)** 2 This course is designed to provide students with the scientific knowledge for addressing community/public health nursing needs and understanding the various community practice models, including analysis and interventions strategies for the health of individuals, families and communities to conceptualize the community health/public health nursing as a specialty area of practice. The course focuses on populations' health and the application of the principles of primary health care, strategies of health promotion, nursing care of at-risk aggregates across the life span. The Professional, legal/ethical, economic, cultural, and environmental issues are also examined as they applied to community health nursing.
A0617314 Advanced Primary Care Nursing (3) clinical ** 1 this course is designed to give the application of specialized knowledge and skills to provide care for the elderly, addicts and persons required palliative care. As this course allows the master's student to deal directly with the elderly that helps in a broader understanding of the changes that accompany aging and age, and also helps them to apply the different mechanisms and therapeutic models that pertain to this age.
A0627105 Advanced Health Assessment clinical* 1 This course provides students with advanced health assessment skills to perform comprehensive physical examination for a variety of clients to identify client?s health needs and illness status, and to plan, implement and evaluate appropriate holistic management. During laboratory/clinical experiences psychomotor skills and the use of advanced technologies will be developed , this course also enables the students to differentiate abnormal from normal findings using advanced assessment techniques such as  obtaining appropriate health history and performing physical examinations on adult patients with complex problems in a variety of critical  care settings, In addition, the course emphasizes proper documentation of data obtained and the development of appropriate plans of care.
A0617109 Advanced Primary Care Nursing (1) clinical 1 The clinical components of this course, requires that students function as autonomous learners capable of integrating prior learning in exploring the roles and functions of various primary healthcare settings that are concerned with planning and strategizing for health at the regional and national levels. This will include structured practicum activities that allow students to analyze strategies and approaches of PHC institutions such as Ministry of Health, WHO country office, UNRWA and NGO?s and describe their roles and achievements to help students gain a wider perspective of knowledge transformation to develop and implement evidence-based practice, policies and programs to become competent specialized primary care nurse.
A0627301 Advanced clinical training*** 0 Advanced clinical practice enables master students to further develop their advanced skills and innovate as advanced specialist through integration of knowledge of disease alterations and effective of health and nursing interventions. Students will practice in an acute and critical care settings for the development of clinical competence and clinical judgment in relation to cardiac and respiratory diseases by completing a comprehensive patient assessment, identification of treatment and management modalities based on an individual clinical presentation. In addition, students will expand their practice to understand altered physiological processes in relation to endocrine, neurological, renal and abdominal disease processes. Students will also debate the legal and professional influences the advanced practice role in the context of today?s healthcare system challenges.
A0617108 Advanced Primary Care Nursing (1)** 2 This course is a combination of theory and practice course aims at preparing students with competencies required for primary care nurses and function as care providers, strategic planners, and policy maker to promote and improve the wellbeing of individuals, families and communities. This requires advanced skills and competencies in assessing and diagnosing health care needs of the population. Special attention is directed to understanding the concepts of primary healthcare foundations, history, theories and models within the global, regional and national perspectives. This includes defining roles and responsibilities of international, regional and local organizations such as UN, WHO, UNICEF and UNFPA in establishing regulations and standard for quality of care and implementation of PHC principles achieve the global agenda 2030; Sustainable Development Goals SDG?s and Universal health Coverage.

A0617306 Seminar 1 This course focuses on students' learning of pharmacology concepts in the field of treating community-specific. Also, through this course, the student can discuss the pros and cons of the different methods of giving the drug to patients and learn about the indications for their use, methods of work, instructions for giving and their side effects, contraindications to the uses of medicines and the role of the nurse in giving them.
A0617310 Maternal and Child Health Nursing 3 This course aims to prepare students with knowledge and competencies regarding the concept of health promotion and protection as well as disease prevention at the individual, family and community levels in the various primary care settings. Students in this course apply the foundations of appropriate prevention for different groups of society and work to make an appropriate decision based on scientific research, critical thinking, leadership and communication skills with members of society.
A0617311 Health Promotion and Prevention 3 Advanced clinical practice enables master students to further develop their advanced skills and innovate as advanced specialist through integration of knowledge of disease alterations and effective of health and nursing interventions. Students will practice in primary care settings for the development of clinical competence and clinical judgment in relation to primary planning health care concepts (prevention health promotion) in the areas of communicable and non-communicable disease, child care, reproductive health, immunization school health by completing a comprehensive community. In addition, students will expand their practice to understand policy making issues emergency management and rehabilitation .Students will also debate the legal and professional influences the advanced practice role in the context of today?s healthcare system challenges.

A0617309 Health Education 3 This course is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and competencies to care for pregnant women before childbirth, during childbirth and after childbirth and to provide safe nursing care for children taking into consideration the role of the family. Students will conduct a holistic structured assessment of the needs of women and children across all ages based on nursing theory and evidence-based practice. Students will be able to demonstrate the ability to coordinate primary care and work with all team members to ensure that reproductive and child care is appropriate, effective and consistent. The student will learn how to advise mothers and families about family planning methods and children's health.
A0627306 Advanced Pathophysiology 3 This course aims to provide students with advanced knowledge of physiological changes when diseases occur. Also, the mechanisms of regulation and compensation by the body's systems to address the critical imbalances associated with the disease are explained. This course deals with physiological imbalances in the event of some diseases that need attention, such as those associated with the elderly, people with drug use and addiction, and chronic diseases requiring palliative care. This course increases students' ability to understand and plan comprehensive and necessary nursing care for patients in specialized community care units such as nursing homes and addictions.
A0617304 Advanced Pharmacology 3 This course aims to introduce students to the main roles and the competencies related to management and leadership necessary to create an appropriate environment to provide patient-centered care. Students also learn about effective leadership behavior related to developing the performance of the nursing care system through the influence and taking an active role within this system. This course focuses on critical thinking and its importance in evidence-based decision-making, problem solving, change and development. Also, this article deals with an understanding and analysis of health policies and how the participants in this program can bring about changes in the level of health policy, which will reflect positively on the individual, family and society. To achieve the objectives of this article, various activities are used to gain the desired competencies, such as discussion, analysis of issues, role-playing and debate.
A0617305 Nusring Administration and Health Policy 3 This course aims to introduce the student to the concept of quality and the process of improving quality in the field of health care. This course focuses on the history and development of quality, its conditions, principles, theories and practices. The student is introduced to a variety of methods to improve quality, including but not limited to continuous quality improvement and total quality management, as well as guidelines for implementing quality management and continuous quality improvement processes. Also, it will be touched upon to discuss and understand the most common health accreditation programs in the region and internationally, especially those related to the tracks of this program.
A0617105 Behavioral Diagnostic and Treatment Models 2 This course aims to provide students with advanced and special knowledge through the study of theories and models that address the behavioral, biological and environmental determinants of health and wellness among individuals, families, groups and societies in order to reach a broader and more comprehensive understanding to help in diagnosis and treatment and to preserve and promote health.
A0617307 Quality Management of Healthcare Services 3 This course provides students with an introduction to assessing and planning health care programs for targeted societal groups. This course provides students with knowledge of the planning principles and tools that nursing leaders need in order to be able to plan health care programs for residents and groups suffering from common diseases and health problems. This course provides students with an opportunity to critically assess health needs and creatively design health strategies for different groups of society by reviewing recent literature, class discussion, and project evaluation, and students will become familiar with the key issues, methods, and solutions of health care planners.
A0617303 Special Topics 2 The seminar allows students to analyze and present current topics related to the students? area of specialization, and /or current issues related to nursing practice and development.
